The weekly review that runs itself

The review is the habit everyone drops first. So we made Brain do it for you — an AI that reads your week back and asks the questions you'd avoid.

Every productivity system dies at the same place: the weekly review. Not because it doesn't work — it works better than anything else — but because it asks you to sit down, alone, and honestly account for your week. Most weeks, you don't.

Why reviews break

A good review needs three things you rarely have at the same moment: the data (what actually happened), the distance (enough calm to see it clearly), and the questions (the uncomfortable ones). Miss any one and the habit quietly lapses.

Brain already holds the data — your tasks, planner, journal, and habits all live in one place. So the missing pieces are distance and questions. That's where the AI comes in.

What the review actually does

Once a week, Brain's AI review reads your week and writes it back to you:

  • What moved — the projects and habits that made real progress
  • What stalled — the tasks that kept sliding to tomorrow
  • What you avoided — patterns you might not want to see, said gently
  • One question — the single thing worth sitting with before next week

A review you don't have to start is a review you'll actually finish.

It reflects; you decide

The AI doesn't reorganize your life or fire off new tasks. It observes and asks. The judgment stays yours — the machine just makes sure the conversation happens at all. That's the whole trick: automate the showing up, never the deciding.

Reflection was never the hard part. Remembering to reflect was. Now you don't have to.
